Teaser and a sleeping cat

Today I finished a piece I've been working on for awhile.  I can't post a picture of it because it's a submission for a book.  I won't know until May if it will be accepted.  I would like to give you a tiny peek, though, because this was my first time to use Sculpey clay for the arms and legs of a cloth doll.  Quite fun to sculpt with it - look at these little tootsies!

After sending in the photo I was checking emails and saw that Jane Spakowsky is having a ten day Painting a Day challenge on her facebook page, so I glanced about the studio and decided to paint Charlene sleeping in her cat bed.

I'm going to try to do the challenge for the ten days.  What challenges are you taking on lately?

Hi Lulu. Great painting of your cat family member. Have fun on the 10 day paintings. I just finished 29Faces and hope to start another project of my own. Not sure yet what, but it will come to me.:) Have fun with your new project.
