Prayer request
Please say a prayer for my mom. This was all very sudden the past two days. She fought off breast cancer like a champ a couple of years ago and last year cancer of the uterus. And now this, a heart attack and a stroke, the doctors think. Her memory suddenly gone, and they don't know if it will come back. I am just finding all this out an hour before we go off to set up for Emily's singing recital. I have to put on a brave face.

my dear friend...I pray that your mom begins to heal and comes back to where she was before. She sounds like a survivor so -will- her your strength and your energy.
I know how scary it is to see your mom in pain - when you need to sit somewhere and cry - cry your hardest - because while saying "be Strong" is easy - it is much harder to do. I think it is harder to say "You are scared - it is o.k. to cry and scream and curse" but once it is out of your system...look to your art and the person you believe in and ask for help to get through this. express yourself!!!
