Ok, still here enjoying the birthday party, dancing the night away, but stealing a moment to write. [P.S. GREAT b-day party, Deirdra! Good food, gallery hopping to see our work in the Wild Women show! Dancing, games, a movie! :D]
So, I made my journal a la Teesha Moore's directions, and after working on the first signature, I got kind of lazy about how I was pre-painting the pages, and ended up with some stuff like this... The journal sat for months, with me not knowing what the heck to do with it.
Emotion of the day: With your loving support and encouragement, I feel safe. I want to thank Misty from the bottom of my heart for this wonderful month of art exploration, and to others who have been a part of this journey with me. I want to continue the exploration, maybe by spending some more time with some of the prompts, and certainly by keeping in touch with new blogging friends, seeing what you're up to, being inspired, and continuing to share. This has been the most wonderful way to start off 2009 - thank you!!!

Lulu,
I love your page! It's just great. Thank you for showing the step-by-step, it's very inspiring.
I'm feeling a bit 'lost' now that the January challenge is over. :-( I'll have to 'prompt' myself to do a page today.
que lindo -
wow - that is amazing - I absolutely love the way this came out - if you should decide to make a print of this I would thoroughly enjoy having one - I think it represents how I feel with my husband. Safe even in times of despair.
Miss emailing - hope all is well.
You are socool! After seeing your drawing of the woman, I can't believe you wrote that you can't draw! So untrue!
Linda
I was just on this page starting to look at your journal work, which I love. I am glad you break it down so I can see it, and I saw your comment.
Thank you. Renee
Oh these are great...
